Cedar Tree

O my graceful cedar tree,
What healing love you offer me
Without an effort I can see,
As I climb you carefully

The graceful curving of your limbs
Frees me of my painful whims
And as I rest my back on thee
I feel you gently holding me

How do you make this alchemy?
And heal me with such subtlety?
Your blissful magic cedar tree,
I feel its peaceful mystery

Yet what thanks will you accept?
Am I forever in your debt?
I sense no grasp in your embrace
As I show my grateful face

O, my graceful cedar tree
What healing love you offer me
I will visit you again,
My ever patient, giving friend
